About this event

ABOUT THIS DIVISION

Co-ed Non-Spiking 6s is a recreational and competitive six-player format that emphasizes passing, setting, placement, teamwork and longer rallies without traditional front-row spiking.

The BVL welcomes a range of skill levels. Teams are grouped by ability wherever registration numbers allow, with early round-robin play used to help establish balanced divisions. Teams may move between divisions throughout the session based on results and standings.

TEAM REGISTRATION

Registering as a team is intended for groups entering together under a team captain. Captains are responsible for organizing their roster and ensuring players understand the BVL's rules, eligibility requirements and Non-Spiking format.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION

Don't have a team? You can register individually. You'll be asked to provide your approximate skill level during registration. After registration closes, the BVL will review the individual player pool and attempt to form teams using factors such as skill level and an appropriate mix of players for the co-ed format.

Individual registration does not guarantee placement on a team. If a team can be formed and your registration is accepted, the BVL will contact you with further information.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Games are played at gymnasiums in local schools and community/recreation facilities throughout Brampton. Locations may vary from week to week, and specific facility and scheduling information will be provided once finalized.

Teams generally play multiple opponents during their scheduled portion of the evening. Most matchups consist of two sets against the same opponent. Exact schedules, locations and playing times will vary throughout the session.

Please review the BVL rules and policies before registering.
